Helpful Hints for Transportation
Now that you have chosen Autotrans to transport your vehicle, to best meet your requirements we ask that you consider the following helpful hints:
PREPARE YOUR VEHICLE
The Occupational Health and Safety of our employees is paramount - hence we require a careful list of any operational problems with your vehicle prior to driving it on and off our equipment.
If you are not sure about any aspect of your relocation, please ask our experienced Autotrans team - we are here to assist you.
VEHICLE TRANSPORTATION CHECKLIST
We trust that your vehicle relocation experience will be a positive one. Your Autotrans Consultant will discuss with you the information needed to uplift and deliver your vehicle to its new location. Please refer to our Relocation Services to obtain the applicable checklist.

RESTRICTED ACCESS
As our vehicles can be up to 24 metres long, we need to ensure our drivers have available space to manoeuvre and turn.
Large towns and cities often have restrictions in place for large vehicles and prohibit them entering some residential areas or access roads. If access to your residence is restricted, Autotrans will arrange an alternative collection / delivery point with you. Once arranged, we ask that you be available within our agreed time as not being on time may result in delays to our service and customers. An Autotrans Customer Service Officer will be in contact with you on the day of delivery / collection of your vehicle to ensure things run smoothly. If you are unsure, please discuss with your Autotrans consultant at the time of booking.
NON ATTENDANCE
If you or your agent are not available to be present at either collection or delivery of your vehicle, we require an uplift authority (hyperlink to uplift authority) to be completed. The uplift authority must be signed and faxed to the relevant Autotrans branch managing your move prior to your vehicle being collected / delivered.
