Frequently Asked Questions

Does my vehicle need to be empty prior to transport ?

Yes. It is important for safety reasons that there are no goods in your vehicle when you hand it over to Autotrans Express. The exception we make is the spare tire, wheel jack fitted baby seats. We do not take responsibility for lost items that are left in cars. Please refer to our Autotrans Service Conditions for further information.


Does my vehicle have extra warranty cover?


Yes. All vehicles booked with Autotrans have our extra warranty included in the transit price. Should you instruct Autotrans to operate outside our procedures, such as non attendance delivery the Autotrans warranty would not apply. Please refer to section 7 of the Autotrans Service Conditions for further information.

 


 

Where do you collect / deliver?

Autotrans Express is a National Vehicle Transport Business. We can collect / deliver to your door if requested. We have branches in each capital city including 30 plus agencies located around Australia should you wish to arrange a depot-to-depot service. It is important to provide us with at least 48 hours notice prior to collection to ensure the best possible transit time can be confirmed with our operation.

What are the expected transit times?

Please discuss transit times with our friendly Autotrans Express staff.

Will I be notified when my vehicle arrives?

Yes. A member of Autotrans Express will contact you once your vehicle has arrived at the destination depot to advise you accordingly of its arrival and make arrangements that suit you for collection.
